Welcome to Takamatsu!!! On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to extend our warmest welcome to all participants of The 7^th Japan-Korea-Taiwan Symposium in Maternal-Fetal Medicine held in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan.

In this symposium, two parallel sessions (30 oral presentations from three countries) will be held in the morning on August 25 (Fri). Two Luncheon Seminars, Presidential Lecture, International Symposium on "Clinical application of 3D/4D ultrasound in obstetrics", two Plenary Lectures, and 40 Year Memorial Lecture, all in English, will be held in one room in the afternoon on August 25 (Fri). After these special lectures in the afternoon, we will have a Congress Banquet at night on August 25 (Fri). We will serve delicious Japanese foods and Sake, especially Kagawa's soul food, Sanuki-Udon (the best classical noodles in Japan). Please enjoy this special event. We believe that this symposium will be an exciting and exhilarating meeting.

In Kagawa (called Sanuki in ancient times), there are many beautiful places, such as Setonaikai National Park, Seto Long-Bridge, Sessha Konpira-gu (Kotohira-gu) shrine (Guardian deity of seafarers shrine), and Ritsurin Garden (one of the top three Japanese gardens). We also have many delicious foods, such as Sanuki-Udon (Kagawa is called the Udon Prefecture in Japan because of these famous noodles), Honetsukidori (grilled garlic chicken on the bone), olive fruits, olive beef, Sanuki-yume pork, and seafoods from the Setonaikai-sea. Kagawa has many secrets awaiting your discovery.
